• This pump has the same mechanical and electrical design as the ULKA EP7. When you remove the old faulty pump, do not throw away the plastic rubber mounts (vibration absorbers) on it; transfer them to the new KELI pump to complete the installation. This ensures quiet operation of the appliance.
• It has standard female faston (spade) terminal connections. Fit the connectors following the wiring of the old pump (according to the diode marking on it, if any).
• Always clean the scale filter or strainer in the appliance's water inlet reservoir. Trying to draw water from a clogged line can cause the pump to overheat and run outside its duty cycle, burning out the coil (or tripping the thermal cut-out).
• On first start-up, the pump may sound somewhat loud until the air in the system is purged; it will return to its normal operating sound once it starts pumping water. Never run the pump dry for long periods.
