Cubigel GL90TB Hermetic Compressor – 1/4 HP, R134a, HBP 791 W

The Cubigel GL90TB (GL 90 TB) is a 1/4 HP hermetic reciprocating compressor manufactured for commercial refrigeration appliances operating at positive temperatures, such as beverage coolers, display cabinets, water dispensers and bottle coolers. It runs on R134a; with its 8.85 cm³ displacement it delivers a cooling capacity of 791 W (2,699 BTU/h) at the ASHRAE HMBP condition. It is the 1/4 HP model of the GL series, also searched for in the field as a "refrigerator motor".

With its L-series housing, the GL90TB operates in the −25 … +10 °C evaporating range with its fan-cooled construction and CSIR (start capacitor) motor; it can be used in capillary tube and expansion valve systems. The manufacturer's data sheet also states it is compatible with R1234yf.
