Cubigel B38G Hermetic Compressor – 1/8 HP, R134a, HBP 347 W

Cubigel B38G is a 1/8 HP hermetic reciprocating compressor manufactured for water dispensers, water coolers and small positive-temperature coolers. It operates with R134a; with a displacement of 3.8 cm³ it delivers a cooling capacity of 347 W (1,184 BTU/h) under ASHRAE HBP conditions.

The B series is a compact compressor family with a height of 142 mm and a weight of 5.0 kg. It is manufactured within the Huayi group, to which the Cubigel brand belongs; for this reason the body label reads HUAYI B38G. The CSIR (capacitor start) motor provides high starting torque; it can be used in capillary tube and expansion valve systems. It is the model recommended to replace the old B30G.

ASHRAE: liquid 46 °C, ambient and suction 35 °C. Under CECOMAF HBP conditions (+5 °C): 291 W, 152 W power input, COP 1.91. Capacity decreases as the evaporating temperature drops.
