Product Description

Copper Fitting 45° Elbow 1 5/8" - 42 mm is designed to give a 45-degree change of direction to the pipeline in HVAC, refrigeration and heating systems. Made of 99.9% pure copper, it offers excellent thermal conductivity, corrosion resistance and high pressure resistance. Both ends are socket type (CxC — cup × cup); 42 mm tube fits directly into both ends and is soldered. The bag label bears the EN 1254 (copper fittings standard) marking.

Product Features:

  • Material: 99.9% pure copper
  • Connection Diameter: 1 5/8 inch (42 mm)
  • Angle: 45°
  • Connection Type: CxC — both ends socket type, solderable
  • Standard: EN 1254
  • Pressure Rating: Suitable for high-pressure systems

Technical Details

  • Application: AC refrigerant lines, refrigeration installations, heating and plumbing
  • Installation: Clean the pipe end and insert it into the socket; join by brazing. Brazing under nitrogen flow is recommended for refrigerant lines.
  • Tip: For angled transitions, a 45° elbow gives less pressure drop and cleaner workmanship than a 90° elbow.
