Practical Usage Note for Field Technicians

Technician's Note: A clean, oil-free copper surface before you start brazing maximizes the effect of the flux. Dip the tip of the heated brazing rod into the powder flux so that it sticks to the rod, then apply it to the joint area. After the work is complete and the part has cooled, be sure to clean the flux residue left on the joint. Flux residue that is not cleaned off can cause corrosion (oxidation) over time.
