Artiko MG-100A Digital Manifold Set – Superheat/Subcooling, 88 Refrigerants (Without Hoses)
- Stock: In Stock
- Brand: Artiko
- Model: 01 19 63
Artiko MG-100 digital manifold is an electronic service manifold that displays, for split air conditioners, VRF and refrigeration systems, low/high pressure, pipe temperature, superheat and subcooling values on a single screen. You don't turn a refrigerant slide rule and read tables as with an analog gauge manifold: you select the refrigerant from the device's built-in library of 88 refrigerants with NIST data and the device calculates superheat/subcooling itself. The 16 most frequently used refrigerants (including R32, R410A, R134a, R22, R404A, R407C) are at the top of the quick-access list.
This variant (MG-100A) comes without hoses — this avoids unnecessary cost for service companies that already have a good set of charging hoses. If you want hoses, the MG-100B variant is also available in our store.
Why a Digital Manifold: The Device Calculates Superheat/Subcooling
- Superheat/subcooling is the measure of a correct refrigerant charge. When you attach the two clamp probes to the pipe and select the refrigerant, the device calculates superheat and subcooling live from the pressure-temperature relationship — no tables, slide rules or phone apps are needed.
- ±0.5% FS pressure accuracy, 0.5 psi resolution: Much clearer than reading an analog gauge needle; even small differences are visible with high-pressure refrigerants such as R410A/R32.
- 6 pressure units: kPa, MPa, psi, inHg, bar, kg/cm² — you switch to whichever unit is on the equipment label; °C/°F selectable.
- Also monitors the vacuum side: The display shows negative pressure (down to -14.5 psi); you can follow the evacuation of the system on the manifold.
- Dual clamp probes: Connect to the suction and liquid lines at the same time; you read superheat and subcooling together on the same screen.
Technical Specifications, Package Contents and Usage Notes
- Product Code: 01 19 63 | Model: Artiko MG-100A (MG-100 series)
- Pressure Measuring Range: -14.5 ~ 800 psi (approx. -1 ~ 55 bar) · resolution 0.5 psi · accuracy ±0.5% FS
- Temperature Measuring Range: -50 ~ +150°C · resolution 0.1°C · accuracy ±0.5°C
- Refrigerant Library: 88 refrigerants (US NIST data); 16 frequently used refrigerants in the quick list
- Pressure Units: kPa · MPa · psi · inHg · bar · kg/cm² | Temperature: °C / °F
- Operating / Storage Temperature: -10 ~ +50°C / -20 ~ +60°C
- Auto Power Off (APO): preserves battery life; display has a backlight
- Body: 2 valves (LOW/HIGH), 3 port connections, sight glass in the middle
- Package Contents: MG-100 digital manifold + 2 clamp-type temperature probes + Artiko carrying case (hoses not included in the package)
- 🔧 Do not exceed 800 psi. If the measurement exceeds the range, the display shows "OL"; to protect the sensor, do not leave the manifold on the line during pressure testing (nitrogen above 800 psi).
- If no probe is connected, the temperature field shows "--" — this is not a fault; check the clamp probe plug.
- Attach the clamp probe to bare copper. Measuring over insulation reads 2-3°C low and distorts the superheat calculation; keep the contact surface clean.
- Zeroing (ZERO): Zero the pressure with the manifold unpressurized before measuring; this compensates for altitude/atmospheric pressure differences.
- Calibration warnings: If you see an NCAL/NOCELL code on the display, refer to the error codes section of the manual; protect the device from drops and carry it in its case.
