Artiko 23W No-Frost Refrigerator Condenser Fan Motor – YJF-61/13, 230V, with Fan Blade (Vestel, Ariston, Hotpoint Compatible)

A 23 W fan motor used in the condenser (outer) unit of no-frost refrigerators. It moves air across the condenser to reject the condensing heat; when this airflow weakens, the compressor overheats, the overload trips and the refrigerator stops cooling. The motor's own label shows the model code YJF-61/13.

The set comes with the motor body, an integral L mounting bracket and a 4-blade plastic fan blade; the power supply is via cable leads (as seen in the photos).

When Should the Condenser Fan Be Replaced?

• If the refrigerator does not cool and the bottom and rear sections overheat.
• If the compressor runs but the fan does not turn, turns with difficulty or starts turning only when pushed by hand.
• If a metallic rubbing, humming or vibration noise is heard during operation.
• If the motor body gets hot enough to burn your hand due to a seized bearing/bushing.

Compatibility

Used in the condenser units of Vestel, Ariston and Hotpoint no-frost refrigerators. Before replacement, the body size, shaft length and mounting hole spacing of the removed motor should be compared; the fan blade direction of rotation and blade diameter must be the same.

Installation Note

• No work is done without disconnecting the power; the condenser area may be hot after operation.
• The fan blade is pushed fully onto the shaft, and it is checked by turning by hand that the blades do not touch the condenser or the sheet metal body.
• The wire ends are insulated with plug-in terminals or suitable connectors; the cables are kept away from the fan blade's rotation area.
• After installation, the refrigerator is run and the fan's direction of rotation and airflow are checked.
