AK-50 12-24 Model 12/24 Volt DC Hermetic Refrigerator Compressor

The AK-50 12-24 model is specially designed as a 12/24 volt DC refrigerator compressor for marine, boat, yacht and caravan refrigerators. Suitable for refrigerators between 180 and 280 liters, it is used in refrigerators found in boats, yachts, caravans, buses, trucks and VIP vehicles.

Extra Features

The AK-50 12-24 compressor comes with a 12 Volt vehicle refrigerator motor 134a control board mounted on it. Thanks to its built-in battery discharge protection, the compressor shuts off automatically when the battery voltage drops below 40 amps, preventing you from getting stranded on the road with your vehicle. This feature works much like the battery saver mode on your cell phone.

Factory Settings

• Battery Voltage Cut-Out Value (12V): 10.4 volts
• Battery Voltage Cut-In Value (12V): 11.7 volts
• Battery Voltage Cut-Out Value (24V): 22.8 volts
• Battery Voltage Cut-In Value (24V): 24.2 volts

Fuse Recommendations

• A 15 amp fuse is recommended for 12V applications,
• and a 7.5 amp fuse is recommended for 24V applications.

External Fan Use: If an external fan is to be used, the fan's current draw must not exceed 1 amp.
