Arçelik refrigerator linear potentiometer board (POT4). In the manufacturer's own designation POT4_KARTI LINEAR_GND_AYRI. It is fitted inside the lamp housing in the ceiling of the refrigerator compartment and does two jobs at once on a single board:

• 4 white LEDs — interior lighting of the refrigerator compartment.
• Linear potentiometer (47 kΩ) — temperature setting knob. This is the part that moves when the user turns the knob and pushes it in to hide it.

Therefore, when the board fails, both the interior light and the temperature setting can be affected at the same time — they are not separate parts.

🚨 5734642100 and 5734641100 Are Not the Same Board

Arçelik produces this board in two separate variants, and both are sold concurrently. In the market they are often presented as interchangeable, but the difference is electrical:

Both carry the same PCB design (PIPO(TH) V05), the same 4-LED layout and the same potentiometer; the difference is in the ground connection. Before ordering, look at the 12-digit number on the removed board: if you read 305734642100, you have the right product (the leading 30 is a production prefix, the stock number is the last 10 digits).

Failure Symptoms

• The temperature setting knob has no effect — the setting is changed but the cabinet temperature does not change.
• Overcooling — milk, yogurt and vegetables freeze in the refrigerator compartment. When the potentiometer goes open circuit or leaks, the board reads the coldest setting.
• Interior lighting does not light or lights partially — since the 4 LEDs are on the same board, the light may also fail together with the pot fault.
• The display shows an error code but the refrigerator keeps running.

With these codes the refrigerator continues to operate; when the fault is cleared, the displays return to normal by themselves.

🪤 Measure the Sensor Before Replacing the Board

A fault in the evaporator temperature sensor (NTC) gives the same symptoms. Since the sensor is inside the foam, it is not visible and cannot be repaired. Measure the sensor resistance before replacing the pot board; replacing the sensor while the board is sound, or vice versa, is the most common misdiagnosis.
