Technician Tips

• R290 is flammable (A3): Carry out charging, recovery and brazing in a spark-free, well-ventilated area, following flammable refrigerant procedures.
• Keep the charge at the manufacturer's value according to the system volume; avoid overcharging R290 systems.
• Braze the connections under nitrogen and fit a filter drier; POE oil is hygroscopic, so complete the installation quickly.
• It is intended for HMBP applications; do not use it in freezer (LBP) applications.
