The Air Conditioner Drain Hose 3/4 50 Meters is a spiral-reinforced drain hose that carries away the condensate formed in the air conditioner indoor unit. Made in Turkey from A+ quality plastic raw material that does not break down in sunlight, it offers long service life even on lines left on the outside of buildings. The 3/4 diameter is the widest cross-section in the series; it is preferred in commercial systems with high condensate flow, on long drain lines and in applications where several indoor units join the same line.

Applications, Installation and Maintenance

• Used in the condensate (drain) line of commercial and high-capacity split/ducted air conditioning systems, on long-distance drain lines and in air conditioner service work.
• Always run the line with a continuous slope in the drain direction; if a dip (U) that traps water forms in the hose, water dripping from the indoor unit and odor problems occur. The wide cross-section reduces flow resistance on long lines, lowering this risk.
• When cutting, make sure the end is square and burr-free; this ensures sealing when connecting with nipples, spouts and T/Y fittings. Make sure the fittings are suitable for the 3/4 size.
• Do not kink the hose at sharp turns; the spiral construction resists crushing, but a sharp bend narrows the cross-section and reduces flow.
• Check the line at the start of the season and, if necessary, clean it against clogging with compressed air or water.
