Designed for commercial air conditioning, chiller and heat pump systems, the Danfoss SZ300A4PBF is a fixed-speed Performer scroll compressor (Danfoss code: 120H2154). With a 437.5 cm³ swept volume and 25 HP power, it delivers approximately 248,356 BTU/h (72.8 kW) of nominal cooling capacity. It works with R407C, R134a and R513A refrigerants; it is charged with POE oil.

Danfoss Performer SZ series scroll compressors offer few moving parts, low vibration and quiet operation. Technician's Tips

• Braze the pipes at rotalock connections under nitrogen to prevent internal oxidation.
• Do not run the compressor without connecting the 110/240 V supply of the electronic protection module.
• POE oil absorbs moisture; keep the compressor sealed until installation and evacuate the system thoroughly before commissioning.
• Scroll rotation direction is critical: verify the phase sequence at first start-up.
• Use a crankcase heater to prevent refrigerant from mixing with the oil during shutdown; heaters suitable for the SY-SZ 240-380 body are listed in the related products.
